Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo (AFUED), in affiliation with Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 Contact Session.

Admission Requirements
1) For 4 Years Part-Time Degree Programme: An eligible candidate must possess a minimum of merit pass in relevant Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E) courses. In addition, a candidate shall possess a minimum of five (5) O level credits at a minimum of two sittings which should include credit in English Language and Mathematics for all courses.
2) In Line With Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy and guideline, candidates applying for Part-Time/Sandwich/ Distance learning should be processed to JAMB through Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). These categories of candidate need not sit for JAMB. However, sitting for UTME does not disqualify them. All students must compulsorily register their Part Time Registration with JAMB @ Nigeria to enable them to get NYSC Exclusion Certificate processed through the Division of Students’ Affairs
Additional Information:
JAMB is NOT required.
However, applicants must register their part-time program with JAMB via Part-Time Portal to obtain a registration number for NYSC exclusion.
All registrations must be processed through JAMB to be valid.
How to Apply
Interested applicants should follow these steps to complete their online application:
1. Visit portal.afued.edu.ng
2. Click on “Applicant”
3. Read the instructions and tick the checkbox
4. Click on “Create Account” and fill in your email
5. Log into your email to retrieve your password
6. Sign in to the portal using the password sent
7. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 (excluding bank charges)
8. Complete and submit the application form online
9. Print the completed application form and submit two copies to the Directorate of Continuing Education and Part-Time Studies, AFUED
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted on or before Friday, 28th November 2025.
Lecture Schedule:
Lectures will commence in December 2025 and will be held during school vacations at:
Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Demonstration Secondary School, Ondo.
