Mountain Top University Postgraduate Admission Requirements
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Candidates must have a First Degree or HND in a relevant discipline from any recognized tertiary institution.
2. Master’s Degree:
- Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from Mountain Top University or any other recognized university.
3. M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programmes:
- Direct Ph.D. admission requires a CGPA of 3.50 and above on a 5.00 scale (or 55–59%).
- M.Phil. admission is for candidates with 3.00–3.49 CGPA on a 5.00 scale in their Master’s degree.
Programme Duration
- PGD: Minimum 2 semesters (Full-time) or 3 semesters (Part-time)
- Master’s (M.Sc./M.A./MBA/MPA): Minimum 3 semesters (Full-time) or 4 semesters (Part-time)
- Ph.D.: Minimum 6 semesters (Full-time) or 8 semesters (Part-time)

Applicants must upload:
- Degree/HND certificates
- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate (for Nigerian candidates)
- Academic transcripts (to be sent directly to the Registrar)

- Concept Note (for research-based programmes)
- Only candidates whose transcripts have been received will be considered for admission.
