Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) Opens 2025/2026 Admission for UTME & Direct Entry Candidates

Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, is now accepting applications from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

About Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU)

JABU is a faith-based private university licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Located in Ikeji-Arakeji along the Ilesa-Akure road in Osun State, the university provides a serene environment ideal for academic pursuits and character development, away from the distractions of city life.

Who Can Apply?

UTME Candidates

Must have at least five credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or equivalent.
English Language and Mathematics are compulsory.
Candidates who did not initially choose JABU but wish to apply are required to:
Apply for a change of institution on the JAMB portal
Obtain the JABU application form and participate in the screening
Awaiting Result candidates can also apply (results must be ready by September 2025)

Direct Entry Candidates

Must have five relevant O’Level credit passes (including English and Mathematics)
In addition, they must possess any of the following:
A’ Level passes in relevant subjects
OND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit level), or Diploma from JABU or any recognized institution

College of Agricultural Sciences

B.Agric. (options in Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science, Soil Science)
B.Sc. Food Science and Technology
O’Level Subjects: English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Economics. Physics is acceptable.

College of Environmental Sciences

B.Arch. Architecture
B.Sc. Estate Management
O’Level Subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one of the following: Geography, Fine Art, Tech Drawing, etc.
Urban and Regional Planning, and Geography require English, Mathematics, Geography and two other subjects.

College of Humanities

B.A. English
B.A. History and International Studies
B.A. Philosophy and Religious Studies
O’Level Subjects: English and four other Arts or Social Science subjects.
For English: Literature is required.
For History: History or Government is required.

College of Natural Sciences

B.Sc. Biochemistry
B.Sc. Microbiology
B.Sc. Computer Science
B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry
B.Sc. Physics Electronics
O’Level Subjects:
Biochemistry: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics
Microbiology: Agricultural Science is acceptable instead of Biology
Computer Science and Physics Electronics: English, Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Biology, Economics, or Geography

College of Social Sciences

B.Sc. Economics
B.Sc. International Relations
B.Sc. Political Science
B.Sc. Mass Communication
O’Level Subjects:
Economics: English, Mathematics, Economics and two other Arts or Social Sciences
Political Science: English, Government or History and three others. A pass in Mathematics is acceptable
Mass Communication: English, Literature and three others. A pass in Mathematics is acceptable

College of Management Sciences
