Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry application for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who chose EBSU as their first choice institution, as well as those willing to switch to EBSU, are invited to apply.

Who Can Apply?
- Candidates who chose EBSU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Candidates who wish to change their institution to EBSU.
- Drect Entry applicants who selected EBSU.
- Candidates awaiting results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB are also eligible to apply.
Application Period
Start Date: 14th July, 2025
Deadline:14th August, 2025
Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 only is to be paid by all applicants.
Important Notes
- No physical screening is required.
- Candidates must upload their O’Level results to both the EBSU portal and JAMB CAPS.
- Inconsistent names on documents may lead to disqualification.
- Admission must be accepted within four (4) weeks, or it will be automatically withdrawn.
- Pre-degree candidates will be admitted based on the average of their JAMB and Pre-degree scores.
- Direct Entry candidates should ensure their A-level results are verified on the JAMB portal.
How to Apply for EBSU Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening
1. Visit the EBSU Post-UTME Portal https://ebsu.edu.ng
2. Scroll to the Quick Menu and click on Online Application Forms
3. Select POST-UTME Application Form or Direct Entry Application Form
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
5. Click Login to generate your payment invoice
6. Pay online using your debit card or at any bank
7. Return to the portal to complete the application form
8. Use your personal email and phone number
