AE-FUNAI Post UTME/Direct Entry Form 2025/2026 is Out | Cut-Off Marks, Available Programmes, and How to Apply
This is to inform the general public that registration for the 2025/2026 academic session Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State will commence on Friday 18th July, 2025 and end on Friday 29th August, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested candidates who must have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME and who made AE-FUNAI their first choice institution in the 2025 UTME are eligible to apply.
- Prospective candidates who did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution but wish to study in the university are also eligible to apply. However, they must effect a change of institution/course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal on or before Friday 29th August, 2025. This applies to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
- Candidates for Medicine and Surgery and Nursing Science must have obtained their O’Level results at one sitting only.
- Candidates should be guided by the UTME and O’Level subject requirements available on the University website.
- After the cut-off date of Friday 29th August, 2025, the JAMB CAPS portal for change of institution/programme to AE-FUNAI will no longer be available.

How to Apply for AE-FUNAI Post UTME/DE Form
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of N2,000 only.
Follow the steps below to register:
1. Visit the University website at http://www.funai.edu.ng
2. Click on “ADMISSIONS” from the top menu or use the QUICK LINKS section
3. Select “2025/2026 UTME Admission Screening” or “2025/2026 Direct Entry Admission Screening”
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
5. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number
6. Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment using the RRR
7. Return to the application page and enter your JAMB Registration Number again
8. Complete the application form
9. Submit the form and print your acknowledgement slip
The mode of screening for the 2025/2026 session shall be through internal assessment of candidates’ results. There will be no Post UTME CBT test.
Important Notes
- Ensure your O’Level and Direct Entry results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Friday 29th August, 2025. Any application without result upload on CAPS will not be processed.
- Use a mobile number and email address that are active and accessible.
- Providing false information at any stage will lead to automatic disqualification.
