Lagos State University (LASU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB Programme) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This JUPEB programme, located at the LASU ASCON Campus, Topo, Badagry, Lagos, is a one-academic-session intensive programme aimed at preparing exceptionally brilliant candidates for admission into 200 Level of degree programmes in JUPEB-affiliated universities, both in Nigeria and abroad.
Programme Duration
The LASU JUPEB Programme will commence in September 2025 and run through August 2026.
Admission Requirements for LASU JUPEB 2025/2026
To be eligible for admission into LASU JUPEB, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Minimum Entry Requirement: Five (5) Ordinary Level (O’Level) Credits including English Language.
- Candidates applying for Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Agricultural Science, Education, Social Sciences, or Management Sciences must have at least a credit pass in Mathematics.
- Qualifying Examination: Applicants will undergo a written qualifying examination to be considered.
- Documents Required for Screening:
- National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
- Birth Certificate
- O’ Level Result (Note: Awaiting Result is not accepted)
- One Passport Photograph
- Consistency in Names: Names on NIN, O’ Level Result, and Birth Certificate must match.
- Acceptance Fee: Successful candidates will pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦30,000 only.

- Botany – English, Biology, Chemistry, and 2 others.
