The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for admission into the university for the 2025/2026 academic session.
All eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates are invited to apply. The registration exercise began on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 and is currently ongoing.
Who Is Eligible to Apply for AAUA Post-UTME 2025?
Below are the categories of candidates eligible for the AAUA 2025/2026 admission screening:
• Candidates who selected AAUA as their first choice institution in the 2025 UTME and scored 160 and above.
• Direct Entry applicants who also chose AAUA as their first choice.
• Candidates who scored 160 and above in UTME and are willing to change their institution to AAUA.
Note: Candidates who did not initially choose AAUA but wish to apply must first complete a Change of Institution on the JAMB CAPS portal before the close of the registration window.
Additionally, all candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025 to be eligible for admission.
AAUA Post-UTME Application Fee 2025
Applicants are required to make a non-refundable payment of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000). This includes:
• ₦2,000 for Post-UTME registration
• ₦3,000 for Portal Access Fee
All payments are to be made online via the University Screening Portal at https://putme.aaua.edu.ng.
How to Apply for AAUA Post-UTME and Direct Entry Form 2025
Follow these simple steps to complete your application:
1. Visit the official screening portal: https://putme.aaua.edu.ng.
2. Create an account using your valid JAMB registration number and a functional email address.
3. Confirm your email by clicking on the activation link sent to your inbox (check spam folder if not found).
4. Log in and make the ₦5,000 payment via E-Tranzact.
5. After payment, fill in your bio-data with accurate personal and academic details.
6. Print out your bio-data slip and keep it safe for future reference.
General Instructions to All Applicants
• All candidates must correctly upload their O’Level results on the portal. A maximum of two sittings is allowed.
• AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB results.
• For Direct Entry, accepted qualifications include First Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (minimum of 6 Points), and NCE (minimum of 8 Points).
• Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply, but must upload their results to both the University portal and JAMB CAPS as soon as released.
• Ensure your UTME subject combination aligns with your course of choice. If it does not, kindly effect a change on JAMB CAPS.
• All AAUA courses require Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
• Complete your application form carefully and truthfully. Any false information may lead to automatic disqualification.
• After submission, print evidence of completed application and retain it.
Important Notice for All Candidates
• Registration for the AAUA online screening began on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025.
• Candidates should study the university’s official admission brochure or guideline to confirm the minimum cut-off mark for their chosen courses.
• Provide a valid and active email address and phone number without the “Do Not Disturb (DND)” service to ensure you receive timely updates.
• AAUA does not work with agents. Beware of fraudsters!
