The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its National Diploma (ND), Pre-Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND), and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Whether you’re a fresh secondary school graduate or an ND holder looking to upgrade, AFIT offers specialized training in engineering, technology, and management fields.
Application Period
AFIT Post-UTME and admission application portal is open from 30th June to 27th July 2025.
Admission Requirements
National Diploma (ND) Programmes
- UTME score of 160 and above.
- Candidates must have chosen AFIT or are expected to change to AFIT as first choice institution.
- O’Level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) with credits in relevant subjects.
Pre-HND Programmes
- Must possess National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution in a related course.
- At least one year of industrial training (IT) or evidence of post-ND work experience.
- O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes
- ND certificate with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline.
- At least one year of post-ND work experience.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must have two years of work experience.
- O’Level requirements as applicable to the chosen programme.

Application Fee
ND applicants: ₦2,000 (non-refundable Post-UTME screening fee)
Pre-HND & HND applicants: ₦10,000
