Ahmadu Bello University Extends Postgraduate Application Deadline for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has announced an extension of the online sales of postgraduate application forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Originally scheduled to close on Friday, 31st October 2025, the new deadline has been extended to Sunday, 30th November 2025. This gives interested candidates more time to apply for admission into the university’s various postgraduate programmes.

Application Guidelines
Applicants are to take note of the following important details:
1. The application form fee is ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only, excluding bank charges.
2. Ph.D. applicants must upload a research proposal of not more than 300 words on their intended research topic.
3. Applicants must provide valid phone numbers and email addresses — these are mandatory.
4. Candidates must possess the basic entry requirements of five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
