The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is to inform all prospective candidates who selected DELSU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME that the online application portal is now open.
Who Is Eligible for DELSU Post UTME 2025/2026?
To be eligible for the screening:
• Candidates must have chosen Delta State University, Abraka as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
• A minimum UTME score of 150 is required to apply.
• Direct Entry candidates must hold a relevant qualification such as NCE, OND, HND, First Degree, or A-Level passes.
• Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply but must upload their results to JAMB as soon as they are available.
• Candidates must ensure that their O’Level and/or Direct Entry results are properly uploaded to the JAMB portal, as failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
DELSU Post UTME Application Date and Deadline
• The online application portal opens on Thursday, 24th July 2025.
• The application portal will close at 12:00 midnight on Friday, 22nd August 2025.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
How to Apply for DELSU Post-UTME / Direct Entry Form 2025/2026
All applications must be submitted online via the university’s official student portal. Follow the steps below to complete your application:
1. Visit the DELSU student portal at https://studentportal.delsu.edu.ng.
2. Click on the link that reads “POST UTME 2025/2026” to access the application section.
3. Click on “Start Form”.
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and proceed to complete the form.
5. Login to make online payment as instructed on the portal.
6. After payment, enter your O’Level details, guardian information, upload your passport photograph, and submit your application.
7. Click on “Print” to generate a copy of your completed application form. Keep it safe for future reference.
Important Information for Non-First Choice Candidates
Candidates who did not initially choose DELSU as their first-choice institution in JAMB but scored 150 and above may also apply. However, they must first visit the JAMB portal and change their institution of first choice to DELSU, Abraka before the Post-UTME registration deadline.
Additional Notes for Candidates
• Candidates must provide accurate phone numbers and email addresses during registration. All subsequent communication, including details about the screening date and venue, will be sent to the contact details provided.
• It is mandatory to carefully read all instructions on the front page of the application portal before completing the form.
• All candidates must upload their O’Level and Direct Entry results to JAMB. Any candidate who fails to upload required documents will not be considered for admission.
