MAU Yola Issues Urgent Update on 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admissions – Change of Programme Begins
The Management of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola has released an important notice to all UTME and Direct Entry candidates participating in the 2025/2026 admission exercise. The update, issued by the Office of the Registrar (Admission Unit), contains urgent instructions for candidates yet to complete their admission process on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Important Instructions to Candidates
According to the announcement:
Candidates who have been offered admission but have not yet accepted it on JAMB CAPS are strongly advised to do so immediately to avoid losing their admission slots.
Candidates whose O’Level results are not yet uploaded on JAMB CAPS must visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre urgently to upload their results.
Candidates who changed their course earlier must confirm that the change has reflected properly on their JAMB CAPS portal.
Applicants who are yet to receive admission are advised to change to programmes with available spaces to improve their chances.
Oversubscribed Programmes
The university noted that some courses are already oversubscribed, including:
- MBBS (Medicine)
- Nursing Science
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Computer Science
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Common Law
- Sharia Law
Candidates in these categories are strongly encouraged to switch to related programmes with available admission slots.

Deadline for Course Change
All changes and transfers must be completed on or before Sunday, 26th October 2025.
Final Reminder
