The Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly known as Benue State University, invites all candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and those applying through Direct Entry (DE) to register for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise.
Online registration begins on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 and closes on Thursday, 21st August 2025.
Eligibility Criteria for MOAUM Post-UTME 2025
1. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME and must have selected MOAUM as their first-choice institution or switched to MOAUM on the JAMB portal.
2. Candidates must have five relevant O’Level credit passes including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings (UTME applicants only).
3. The required minimum UTME scores by faculty/programme are as follows:
a. Faculties of Administration and Management, Arts, Education, Environmental Sciences, Sciences (except B.Sc. Microbiology), Social Sciences, and Technology and Industrial Studies: 160 and above
b. Faculties of Communication and Media Studies (Mass Communication), Architecture, B.Sc. Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Microbiology: 180 and above
c. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography and Radiation Science: 200 and above
d. MBBS, Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), Bachelor of Law (LL.B), and BN. Nursing Sciences: 220 and above
How to Apply for MOAUM Post-UTME / DE Screening 2025
To register for the screening, follow the steps below:
i. Visit the university website at http://www.bsum.edu.ng
ii. Under the “APPLICATIONS” menu, click on “POST UTME/DE”
iii. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “VERIFY”
iv. Click “PROCEED” to continue to the e-payment platform
v. Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 only using an accepted payment method
vi. After payment, return to the university portal and click on the admission menu
vii. Select “Continue UTME/DE Application”
viii. Complete the online application form and print the completed form
Important Advisory for All Applicants
- All candidates must upload their O’Level or A’Level results to the JAMB portal. Candidates who fail to do this will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication are advised to change to another programme within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
- All registered candidates should regularly visit the university website for updates and further instructions on the next steps.
Deadline for Application
The application window will remain open from Tuesday, 22nd July to Thursday, 21st August 2025 — a period of one month.
