NYSC Registration Tips for Locally Trained Graduates

Locally trained graduates are advised to carefully follow these important guidelines during the registration process:
1. The Revalidation link is strictly for those deployed in 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II and previous batches who did not report to the Orientation Camp.
2. If you previously registered but did not complete the process, do not create another account.  continue your registration using your previous username and password.
3. Do not thumbprint by proxy. Your biometric capture must be done personally.
4. Upload a clear passport photograph. Do not upload a passport photograph wearing NYSC crested vest, as such candidates will not be registered at the orientation camp.
5. PCMs requesting name correction (addition or removal of name) must apply for it through their institution during online registration on the dashboard. This also applies to spelling errors or rearrangement of names.
6. Date of Graduation and Course of Study will appear on the Certificate of National Service or Exemption Certificate.
7. Ensure all personal details entered during registration are accurate and correct.
8. If you need to correct your Date of Birth, apply for the correction through your dashboard. Note that Date of Birth cannot be corrected after camp registration.
9. PCMs who uploaded incorrect thumbprints or passport photographs during registration should contact the NYSC State Secretariat before the orientation exercise begins. Passport photographs cannot be changed after camp registration.
10. Part-time graduates are required to register online in order to print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard once Call-up Letters are released.

NYSC Registration Guidelines for Foreign-Trained Graduates

Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates who intend to participate in the national service must follow these instructions:
1. Visit the NYSC portal to check the requirements and mobilization process for foreign-trained graduates.
2. Do not create multiple accounts during registration.
3. Upload original copies of your documents and ensure that your name is written exactly as it appears on your certificate.
4. Registration can be done from anywhere in the world, but biometric thumbprinting must be completed in Nigeria before reporting to the orientation camp.
5. If your institution has not been evaluated, contact the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja to obtain an Evaluation Letter, which must be submitted at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters (NDHQ) in Abuja.
6. The SSCE result uploaded must be at least four years old.
7. During online registration, select a centre for pre-camp physical verification.
