NYSC Releases Deployment Details for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members — Call-Up Letters Now Available

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the deployment details for 2025 Batch C prospective corps members (PCMs). The announcement was made on Monday via the scheme’s official X (Twitter) handle, confirming that call-up letters are now ready for printing.

This update marks a major step in the mobilisation process for the 2025 Batch C stream.

PCMs Posted to Lagos and FCT Assigned to Orientation Camps in Neighbouring States

NYSC disclosed that due to capacity constraints, some PCMs originally deployed to Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will attend their orientation programme in nearby states.

According to NYSC:

  • PCMs deployed to Lagos will have their orientation in:
  • Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun camps.
  • PCMs deployed to FCT will undergo their orientation course in:
  • Kaduna, Niger, and Nasarawa camps.

This adjustment is part of the scheme’s effort to manage limited accommodation capacity across various camps nationwide.

Only 40% of Registered PCMs Can Be Accommodated — NYSC

This development aligns with earlier reports that NYSC can only accommodate about 40% of registered prospective corps members for the upcoming orientation course due to camp capacity limitations across the 36 states and the FCT.

NYSC Issues Travel Advisory to PCMs

The scheme cautioned prospective corps members to prioritize safety, stating:

Prospective corps members are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp.”

PCMs were also urged to plan their movement early to avoid security risks and to arrive at camp on time.

Print and Sign All Required Documents Ahead of Camp

NYSC reminded PCMs to print, sign, and properly complete all mandatory documents before arriving at the orientation camp.

These documents must be submitted during registration at the camp gate.
