Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife has officially announced the release of its Post UTME Form for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration starts on Monday, 21st July 2025 and ends on Sunday, 24th August 2025. The cut-off mark for OAU Post UTME is 200.

If you chose OAU as your first choice institution or recently changed to the university, here is everything you need to know about eligibility, application procedures, and important dates.

Who is Eligible to Apply for OAU Post UTME 2025/2026?

1. Candidates who chose OAU as First Choice: You must have selected Obafemi Awolowo University as your first choice during the 2025/2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 200 to be eligible for the screening exercise.

2. Candidates who recently changed to OAU: If you recently applied for a change of institution to OAU on the JAMB portal, you are also eligible to register for the Post UTME. Make sure to confirm the change on the OAU admission portal before proceeding.

3. OAU Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates: Candidates in these categories who selected OAU as their first choice and scored 200 and above in UTME are eligible. Note, however, that data for Pre-degree and JUPEB candidates will be collated by the Centre for Distance Learning (CDL).

General Admission Requirements for OAU Screening

* A minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
* One of the subjects passed must be English Language.
* For most courses (excluding Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, and B.A. Education), a credit pass in Mathematics is also required.
* A pass in the General Paper of the Higher School Certificate is accepted as equivalent to a credit in English Language at O’Level.

How to Apply for OAU Post UTME Screening 2025/2026

The OAU Post UTME Form costs Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only.

Follow the steps below to apply:

1. Visit the OAU admission portal at admissions.oauife.edu.ng
2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as Username and your Surname as Password
3. Complete the online biodata form and click continue
4. Generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number
5. Make your payment either online or at any commercial bank
6. Once payment is successful, you will be logged out automatically and won’t be able to log in again
7. Candidates who submit false information or upload incorrect credentials will be disqualified

Note: The screening will be online and will cover the candidate’s UTME subjects.

How to Check OAU Post UTME Screening Schedule

Candidates can check their screening schedule (exam date and time) by logging into the OAU admission portal. Details on how to reprint the OAU Post UTME exam slip will be made available on the portal.
