Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to the specified programmes of the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education of the University of Abuja must possess any of the following requirements:

1.) A minimum of five credit passes including English language and mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in the relevant subjects from any recognised examination bodies such as SSCE/WASC, GCE ‘O’ Level, NECO, NABTEB or TC II.

iii) Two A’ Level passes with a minimum of five ‘O’ level credit passes in relevant subjects.

iii) Direct Entry (DE) applicants must have at least four (4) credits including English language and mathematics in SSCE or NECO at not more than two sittings, and at least two passes in ‘A’ level G.C. E or Diploma at Upper Credit level or 10 points in Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IIMB). NCE holders with a minimum of 10 (Ten) points pass obtained from a recognised institution in addition to five (5) ‘0’ level credit passes as in (i) above can also be considered.

Duration and Mode of Study
• Programmes run for four to five years, depending on entry qualifications.
• Flexible learning mode: Face-to-Face or Online (Distance Learning).

Prospective candidates are requested to process their admission through JAMB e-platform to register, after which they can be seen on the institution’s CAPS dashboard for admission processing before proceeding to apply with JAMB Registration number online via CDL&CE Portal as follows:

2. Click “CLICK HERE TO APPLY”

3. Select preferred mode of study: Face-to-Face or DL

4. Click on “APPLY” to begin the application

5. Fill in your bio-data and contact details

6. Generate your RRR payment invoice

7. Make payment via remita.net (₦20,000 non-refundable fee)

8. Complete and submit your application

9. Save a copy of your application and payment receipt
