Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for qualified candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must have selected Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka or any of its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. UTME candidates must have scored the required pass mark for their chosen faculty or programme.
3. Direct Entry (DE) candidates must possess OND, HND, A’Level, or First Degree qualifications in relevant disciplines.
4. Candidates who did not initially choose UNIZIK but scored the required pass mark can still apply after completing a Change of Institution at any approved JAMB CBT Centre.

Registration Timeline
- Start Date: Monday, 28th July, 2025
- Closing Date: Saturday, 16th August, 2025
- Deadline for Change of Course/Institution: Saturday, 9th August, 2025
- Deadline for Upload of O’Level / A’Level Results on JAMB CAPS: Saturday, 16th August, 2025
How to Apply for UNIZIK Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026
1. Visit: apply.unizik.edu.ng
2. Create an Account:
Validate your JAMB Registration Number
Provide your LGA, UTME subject combination, email, phone number, date of birth, and set a password
Verify your email using the code sent to your inbox
3. Login: Use JAMB Registration Number or email and your password
4. On the Dashboard:
Click “O’Level” to upload result(s)
Click “Buy Form” to pay 2,000 naira online or through the bank
After payment, return to the portal and click on “Submit Form”
You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your application
Important Notes
- Your can edit your O’Level results until the registration deadline.
- If your UTME subject combination does not match your selected course, choose a suggested course from the portal and update it at a JAMB CBT Centre.
- DE candidates must forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Also, submit hard copies of their JAMB e-slip, O’Level results, and OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level results to the office of the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) on or before Saturday, 16th August, 2025.
- Only candidates who register online will be involved in the screening.
Screening Details
- Monitor your email, phone number, and the UNIZIK website for updates about the screening schedule.
- Candidates who do not register will not be considered.
- You must upload your O’Level results (and A’Level results for DE) on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.
Caution
Admissions are not for sale. Report any demand for bribes.
The university will not be liable for fraudulent payments made outside official channels.
Do not make payments using a wrong JAMB registration number.
