FUNAAB Extends School Fees Payment Deadline to January 4, 2026
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has approved an extension of the school fees payment deadline for students following interventions by the Students’ Union Government (SUG).
According to a statement released by the FUNAAB SUG on Thursday, December 19, 2025, the University Management has graciously extended the payment deadline to Saturday, January 4, 2026.
Reason for the Extension
The extension was approved after sustained engagements between the Students’ Union Government and the University Management, aimed at addressing the concerns of students who are yet to complete their school fees payment due to various constraints.
The SUG explained that the decision was taken in line with its mandate to protect students’ welfare and ensure that no student is unfairly excluded from academic activities.
Advisory to Students
- Affected students are strongly advised to:
- Take advantage of the extended window responsibly
- Ensure full payment and compliance with all registration requirements before the new deadline
The Students’ Union Government reaffirmed its commitment to optimum welfarism and continued engagement with the University Management in the best interest of students.
