This is how to check 2025 JAMB results via SMS.
1. Use the phone number you used for registration.
2. Text UTMERESULT in capital letter (no space) to 55019 or 66019.
3. Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime.
4. You’ll receive a reply with your result or status.
What You Might See in the SMS.
Result Available – Your score will be shown.
Number Not Registered – Use the correct phone number.
Result Withheld– Still under investigation.
Absent – You didn’t write the exam.
Registration Cancelled or Unauthorized Access– Disqualified for violating exam rules.
Key Highlights from the 2025 UTME.
Over 1.9 million candidates sat for the exam.
About 75% scored below 200.
Only 420,415 scored above 200.
Less than 1% scored above 300.
2,157 candidates are being investigated for malpractice.
71,701 candidates were marked absent.
40,247 underage candidates took the exam; only 467 scored high enough to be considered “exceptional.”
Some results (including those of blind and JEOG candidates) are still being processed.
Candidates with biometric issues who are cleared will be rescheduled.

HOW TO CHECK JAMB RESULTS ONLINE.
The JAMB online portal is not yet open for result checking. For now, SMS is the only way to access your result. However, when it’s finally activated, this is how to check.
Step 1: Visit the JAMB Result Portal
Go to the official JAMB result-checking portal.
Step 2: Enter Your Details
Input the phone number used during registration or your registration number.
Step 3: Click on “Check My Results”
Your JAMB result will be displayed instantly. You can screenshot or print it for future reference.
